One of Ashley’s many marvelous traits is her helpfulness, and she often insisted on helping me put on my jewelry each morning.  Without fail,  she always asked if I was going to wear my “Ashley bracelet”.  I wore my mommy bracelet every day, and it was so touching to watch Ashley’s face light up every time I put it on.

I then made Ashley her very own name bracelet and quickly expanded her collection to include other styles.  We kept her bracelets in a special box, and she often asked to wear one of her “fancy bracelets”.  She always felt so grown-up, like mommy, with one sparkling on her wrist.

When I began wearing my PhotoJewelry with Ashley as the main subject, Ashley’s excitement just overflowed.  She loved to see her baby pictures around mommy’s neck, and she would sweetly ask to hug and kiss the baby in the picture (perhaps in anticipation of her soon-to-arrive baby sister).

In each of these instances, I realized that not only was I honoring the beloved existence of my child, but I was also showing her how much I loved her.  Thus, the idea of SavvySentiments was born — with the hope that other people could honor their children or grandchildren in such a special way.
